a pin i made in march 2023 is doing 30k impressions a day out of nowhere

Dog training niche. This pin did maybe 300 impressions a week for two solid years. Nine days ago it started climbing and it is now sitting around 28k impressions and 700 outbound clicks a day. I did not touch it. Nothing on the destination post changed. Is there any way to work out what triggered it so I can try to do it again, or is this just weather?

Usually either someone with real reach saved it, or it got attached as a related pin under something that is currently trending. Both look completely identical in your analytics, which is annoying.

Whatever you do, do not touch that pin. Do not edit the title, do not move it, do not tidy the board. Make two new images for the same URL and see if they catch the same wave.

Had this with a canning post. Ran hot for five weeks then went back to nothing. I never worked out what caused it and I have stopped trying to.
