General store, no ad budget. I've made about 40 pins over six weeks and I have 12 outbound clicks total. Every guide says Pinterest is a goldmine for this and they all sound like they were written by the same person. Is anybody here actually doing organic-only and getting orders?
Not with a general store, no. The accounts that work at this are boring and specific - one category, consistent visual style, product photos that look like someone actually owns the thing. A general store gives the algorithm nothing to understand about who you are.
12 clicks in six weeks isn't a strategy problem yet, it's a time problem - pins routinely take a couple of months to get any distribution. That said I'd still narrow the store down before you scale the volume, otherwise you're just making more of the wrong thing faster.
