How feature requests work here

Post them in Feature requests, one idea per thread, and say what you are actually trying to do rather than the feature you think you need. The problem is more useful to us than the solution.

Upvotes matter but they are not a queue. A request with four votes that unblocks a whole workflow usually beats one with thirty that saves a click.

We read all of them. We will not promise dates, because we have been wrong about dates before and would rather say nothing than say something untrue.
