is there an account level quality score or is that just something bloggers made up

Every Pinterest article talks about account trust or a quality score like it is a number sitting in a dashboard somewhere. I have never seen Pinterest itself use those words. What I actually want to know is narrow: if I publish six months of bad pins, does that follow me onto pins I publish next year, or does each pin get ranked on its own merits regardless of what the account did before? The difference decides whether a struggling account is worth rehabilitating or whether I should just start a second one.
