my pins outrank my own blog post in google images — is that actually bad for me

Priya R

Search my main recipe phrase in Google Images and the top two results are my own pins on pinterest.com, with my actual post sitting well below. So the click goes to Pinterest first and then maybe to me. Technically it's still my traffic eventually but I'm losing the ad impression and the email signup along the way. Has anyone deliberately tried to de-optimise for this, and is there even a lever to pull?
