Took eleven months to make Pinterest ads profitable at $30/day - here's where the money went

Rough ledger: about $4,100 spent across the first seven months for $2,600 back. Months 8-11, $3,600 spent for $11,200 back. The change wasn't targeting. It was sending traffic to a collection page instead of individual product pages, and widening the conversion window because our buyers take roughly three weeks to decide. I nearly quit twice in month five and would have been wrong both times.

Collection page over product page is massively underrated. Pinterest people are browsing, not hunting a specific SKU. Same single change fixed our account after months of fiddling with audiences.

Widening the window makes the dashboard look better, but did your actual bank balance move or just the attributed number? Genuine question - I can never tell the difference on mine and it bothers me.
