Twelve months of Pinterest as our second-biggest channel - what it actually cost

Small home fragrance brand. Pinterest went from 2% to 19% of revenue this year: roughly $71k attributed against about $9k all-in cost. What nobody mentions in the case studies is the workload - around six hours a week on pin creation plus $340/mo in ads. Blended ROAS is 2.6, which is worse than our email, but almost all of it is new customers and email isn't.

The 'email has better ROAS but brings no new customers' point is the one people skip constantly when they compare channels. Thanks for putting numbers next to it.

Six hours a week is a lot for a small team. Are you making genuinely fresh creative each week or recycling the same shoots into new formats? Trying to work out where our own time would go.

2.6 blended at fragrance AOV is solid. What's the repeat rate on Pinterest-acquired customers versus your other channels? That's usually where a channel like this either justifies itself over 18 months or quietly doesn't.
